The Chrome Wolf Note Eliminator consists of a cylinder
of precision made chrome, an interior rubber sleeve that fits around
the offending string and a small thumb screw with lock nut.
The chrome cylinder has a 2mm (ave) opening down
its length - through which the string slots. If the diameter of
the string is too large to fit through the slot - you simply unwind
the string from the barrel of the cog until you can slot the eliminator
over the string winding - where the diameter is reduced.
Like the chrome cylinder - the rubber lining has
a slit down its length. Placing it onto the string is simply a
matter of pulling the slit open with your fingers and feeding it
onto the string.
Slide the chrome cylinder over the rubber lining,
insert the thumb screw into the small hole in the centre of the
cylinder and then - tighten as necessary. Once you have found the
desired position for the Wolf Note Eliminator - secure the device
by tightening the lock nut.
Yes - but only one very obvious point. Make sure
that the slit in the rubber lining isn’t directly opposite the thumb screw
- otherwise the screw will come into direct contact with the string.
You don’t want that to happen because besides potentially
causing damage to the string - the Wolf Note Eliminator is unlikely
to function as intended.
This small cylinder of precision made chrome is
absolutely essential for those suffering from wolf-note problems.
In terms of eliminator design the Chrome Wolf Note Eliminator is
a pure thoroughbred.
